The deadline to apply for a postal vote has passed. New applications had to arrive at the electoral registration office by no later than 5pm on Wednesday 18th April.

Changes to existing postal vote arrangements also had to arrive at the electoral registration office by no later than 5pm on Wednesday 18th April.

It is an offence to complete a postal vote that is not your own, and to intimidate voters. If you have any allegations of fraud, they should be referred to the police.

I haven’t received my postal ballot paper yet.

You’ll receive it 1-2 weeks before the elections. If it hasn’t arrived by 30th April, you can get replacement postal ballot papers from the Returning Officer’s staff at your Council, until 5pm on the 3rd May.

I opted for a postal vote but I don’t want to post it/I’m too late to post it?

No problem. On polling day, you can drop your ballot paper off at any polling station in your constituency (before 10pm) or you can drop it off at your local council offices (before they close). Contact your the Returning Officer’s staff at your Council to find out where the polling stations in your constituency are.
